Cargo Insurance Options

Angel Movers and Storage® is pleased to announce that we adhere to all municipal, provincial and federal regulations for operating our business. As a result, we are a fully insured relocation services provider and carry WCB, underwritten for one million dollar liability, property damage and bodily injury. We also carry a maximum of fifty-thousand dollars of cargo replacement protection on every one our relocation vehicles. Please see our FAQ's or contact Angel Movers and Storage® for further details.

Option One: FREE

Included with all relocation projects is our "Released Value Protection" plan. Released Value Protection offers approximately sixty cents per pound, free of charge and is the minimal protection meant for low value moves or moves already protected through your home insurance or a third party.

Option Two: Complete Loss

Peace of mind without spending a fortune and filling out Declared Value Forms and additional Inventory Conditional Forms. Our Complete Loss option is popular amongst our many customers and may be the perfect option for you as its perfectly suited for moving valuable shipments on a local basis.

Option Three: Replacement Value

Angel Movers | Replacment Value Cargo Insurance

Replacement Value Protection means repaired or replaced up to the declared value. There must be a Declared Value Inventory form filled before the move and an Inventory Condition form filled while we load and unload in order to record the condition and account for each item. Final Inspection is at the delivery point when each item and the condition is checked off on the form against the condition entered during loading. There is a $100.00 administration fee, exclusions, and terms and conditions apply.

As with all protection plans, you will be required to base your need on the value of your cargo, the risk in its transport and any additional coverage you may already carry such as your home insurance. We highly suggest contacting your insurance agent to attain any relevant details.

Transport of Dangerous Goods

For insurance purposes and safety reasons we do not transport the following:

• Your family pet such as your dog, cat, goldfish, etc.

• Do not pack dangerous items in a box to be transported by Angel Movers including aerosol spray cans, paint, household cleaners, paint thinner, batteries, ammunition, alcohol, propane, gasoline or anything flammable, corrosive or explosive.

• We do not transport fireworks, explosives, flammable liquids, fuel cell systems, weapons, heat producing articles and dry or wet ice.
